The Las Cruces Chamber Ballet (LCCB) was founded in 1983 by Michele Self to promote classical ballet and dance in the Las Cruces area and to provide serious dance students with opportunities to develop their talents and to have professional performance experience.

Each year the LCCB performs the Nutcracker Ballet in December and a Spring Production.   All rehearsals are conducted at the academy.   Members of the company perform throughout the year at community functions.
